What to do:

Make sure you see it all while you are here on this once in a lifetime trip by combining the beauty of Uluru and Kata Tjuta in one unforgettable flight. The Uluru & Kata Tjuta helicopter tour will showcase Uluru & Kata Tjuta, Kata which means ‘many heads, a sacred place relating to knowledge that is considered very powerful. It is made up of a group of 36 conglomerate rock domes the highest of which stands 198 meters taller than Uluru and dates back 500 million years. With the vast spread of domes and restrictions due to sacred sites, access from ground based touring is restricted to over 75% of Kata Tjuta. Ensure that you don’t miss out on seeing the entire formation by taking a ride in one of our helicopters, combined with viewing Uluru we are sure you will be left with memorable memories and photographs that will last you a lifetime.

Never has an early morning start been more rewarding. The silent morning air that encompasses the desert landscape of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park is filled with gasps and amazed ‘ooohs’ and ‘aaahhs’ as the first group to wander through the desert paths are met by four acres of flowing fibre optics lights. With the majestic Uluru in the background, begin to fall into silence as you take in what is truly an unforgettable and life-changing experience. These otherworldly spheres of light are internationally acclaimed artist Bruce Munro’s latest art installation, Field of Light, and his largest to date, with him and his team installing more than 50,000 slender stems crowned with radiant frosted glass spheres in a remote desert area within sight of majestic Uluru.

Uluru Audio Guide has over 100 stories covering Uluru’s Aboriginal culture, history, geology and everything in between. The audio guide is available as both a downloadable app or a physical device that can be hired from our reservations desk. The audio guide is is designed to allow your own Self-Guided Touring around Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.
