What to do

Kakadu Wildlife Tour

Embark on a remarkable journey to Kakadu National Park, a World Heritage-listed marvel renowned for its exceptional natural and cultural significance. This immersive day trip includes your Parks Australia Kakadu Day Pass, ensuring seamless entry to this iconic destination. You'll have the chance to safely observe impressive saltwater crocodiles from the viewing platform at the infamous Cahills Crossing, conditions permitting. Delve into thousands of years of history with a walk to Ubirr lookout, where you'll discover some of the most important Indigenous rock art paintings and be treated to a stunning panorama over the Nadab floodplains. Further your understanding of this incredible ecosystem at the Bowali Visitor Centre. For an added thrill, you can opt for an Adelaide River Jumping Crocodile Cruise to see these apex predators up close. Alternatively, for a different perspective on the region's diverse birdlife, you can tour along the dam wall and explore the views from the Pandanus lookout at Fogg Dam Conservation Centre, a true bird-watcher's paradise and wildlife refuge. Please note, if you choose the Fogg Dam option, an NT Parks Day Pass for the Fogg Dam Wetlands (KD-B) fare type is required and not included in the tour price, so we recommend purchasing it in advance.

Your Wetland Experience begins with a convenient pick-up from your Darwin accommodation around 9 am, setting the stage for a day of discovery. As you journey, an experienced guide will provide captivating commentary about the region, leading you to the renowned Fogg Dam Nature Reserve. Originally a rice-growing project in the 1950s, this location has transformed into a vital haven for countless bird varieties, offering incredible viewing opportunities as you behold the vast expanse of floodplain stretching to the horizon. After a brief morning tea, the adventure continues towards Corroboree Billabong, the highlight of your day. Here, you'll embark on an amazing 2.5-hour cruise across the wetlands, allowing you to get "up close and personal" with an abundance of birds, crocodiles, and diverse wildlife in their natural habitat. A delicious lunch will be served right on the wetlands, surrounded by the untouched beauty of nature. This immersive tour, complete with air-conditioned transport and a return to your Darwin accommodation around 5 pm, ensures a truly unforgettable encounter with the Top End's unique ecosystem.

Discover Darwin Harbour

Uncover the hidden gems of Darwin Harbour with this enlightening cruise led by local guides who bring the city's history, wildlife, and seascapes to life. You'll glide past three significant wharves—Stokes Hill, Fort Hill, and Fisherman's Wharf—each rich in heritage and bustling with activity, offering a glimpse into Darwin’s vibrant maritime past and present. The tour also takes you to the poignant site of a Cyclone Tracy shipwreck, providing a moment to reflect on the city's resilience. As you cruise the historic Esplanade area, you'll hear fascinating stories about WW2 and its impact on Darwin.
