Million Dollar Fish Season 11 - 1 October 2025 – 31 March 2026.
Famous for its barramundi, the Northern Territory boasts some of the best fishing in Australia and attracts thousands of visitors each year for the chance to reel in a barra. The Million Dollar Fish competition gives fishos of all skill levels the chance to reel in cash prizes of up to a million bucks, simply by fishing the Northern Territory. Season 11 opens on 1 October 2025 – 31 March 2026.
A million reasons to cast a line!
The return of Million Dollar Fish comes after 19-year-old Keegan, from Katherine, reeled in a 67cm million-dollar barramundi in Season 9. Keegan is the first person in the history of the competition to reel in a million-dollar tagged fish. Since Million Dollar Fish began in 2015 more than 1000 red-tagged barramundi have been released and over $2 million in winnings given away.
It’s no secret the Northern Territory is home to some of the best fishing in Australia. For this season of Million Dollar Fish, there will be prize-tagged barra released into five incredible fishing regions, Darwin, Kakadu, Arnhem Land, Katherine and the Tiwi Islands.
Million Dollar Fish Season 10 officially wrapped up, with 17 lucky anglers reeling in a total of $210,000 in red-tagged barramundi across the Top End.
